While AI is being used by cybercriminals and nation states to enhance their cyberattacks, the defenders are also using AI to protect systems, including cyberattacks on the AI data and models themselves. This session shares our research on current policies and regulations that are emerging internationally, discusses the regulatory gaps between cybersecurity and AI policy, discusses conflicts between regulators and business, and explores ideas to ensure the safe and responsible use of AI technologies in real-world public and business applications.
