Singapore-based startups bag four wins at SelectUSA Summit 2022
Four local start-ups won a total of four awards, SunGreenH2 and ShiokMeats came second and third in the cleantech category; Flexxon took second place in the online security category; and Breathonix took third in the medical technology category.
In total, 39 representatives from 28 companies from Singapore attended the event, which was the largest delegation sent by Enterprise Development Board over the years.
Flexxon, an industrial NAND flash memory manufacturing company, has developed the latest product, the world's first standalone embedded cybersecurity SSD X-PHY, which provides ransomware and malware protection.
Tan Chun Kim, Deputy Director-General of Enterprise Singapore, said that as travel restrictions are gradually lifted, Enterprise Singapore is stepping up its efforts to help local companies accelerate their globalization efforts and enter key markets, including the US, which are in the fields of technology and healthcare. Consumer opportunities exist in areas such as sustainable development.
