NAVER Cloud, formally known as NAVER Business Platform has been doing business in the IT development and cloud services for over 10 years. But in 2017, with the development of NAVER Cloud Platform, a public cloud service, became its separate subsidiary. And while we started with only 22 products back in April 2017, we now have over 200 individual products and are still exponentially growing. These services exist under NAVER Cloud Platform include IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, and CaaS (Cloud as a Service). Specifically, these are application, data, runtime and API tools, middleware and platforms, operating systems, virtualization, servers, storage, network services and more. And by expanding into the public, financial, and enterprise cloud markets, in August 2020, we released Neurocloud as its CaaS, offering a hybrid cloud, providing private data center racks for enterprises, further enabling higher levels of security and efficient management.
We also have world-class security certifications and information protection management system certifications, including MTCS (Multi-Tier Cloud Security) Tier-3, CSA STAR GOLD, ISMS, ISO27001, CSAP, CSA STAR, PIMS, SOC2, 3, GDPR and PCI-DSS. These cover global grounds ranging from personal information, general cloud security standards to international payment protection and credit card security.
As a growing global company, we have cloud services in ten global regions and four global networks that span across the world, including the West Coast of the United States, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan. Our CDN service expands over 130 countries, and we possess over 1,700 networks. We plan to expand our global cloud region services to the East Coast of the United States, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan in the near future.
Finally, our entire system would not work at such a speed and security without our data centers. To maintain and grow our impact within the IT ecosystem and beyond, we hope that our data centers, Data Center GAK Chuncheon and GAK Sejong will continue to provide for the development of advanced technologies including cloud, AI, robots, and autonomous driving, while securely storing the plentiful data we produce and need as a society.
