Regional VP for Asia (Hypergrowth Driver for APAC),
As the Regional Vice President for Rubrik Inc., in ASEAN and Greater China market. Calvin is responsible for formulating and managing the business growth strategies and driving sales activities across the Asia region. Calvin has a proven executive management track record and over 25 years of experience driving high growth in the enterprise software industry. A hand on and successful entrepreneur who has passion and determination to conquer the unknowns. Highly driven and performance-focused sales leader who built and led the great sales team from start-up to 80 staff. Calvin led the Asia sales team to achieve >100% year over year on average for the last 3 years at 2x much faster than the nearest established competitors in the Asia region. Prior to joining Rubrik, Calvin was Regional VP of Sales for Talend Inc., in the Asia region. A founding member of Talend in Asia Pacific, responsible for all sales activities within the Asia market which has helped Talend build a solid business foundation and partner ecosystems for the first four years of their operation in Asia. Prior to Talend, Calvin held numerous leadership roles including Head of Channels Sales for Cloudera Asia Pacific, General Manager for HP Enterprise Security Business Unit in Asia growing from US$10m to US$30m. He was formerly from Sun Microsystems, regional sales director for services, South Asia, instrumental in growing a highly profitable services business from $1m to $88m in 9 years. He holds B.A. (Hons) Economics degree and a green belt certified in Six Sigma and IT Service Management (ITIL) foundation.
