Dr. Chalee Vorakulpipat is currently the director of the Center of Research and Development at the Office of Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) and the head of Information Security Research Team at National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), Thailand. He has been involved in several projects in information security and personal data protection, electronic COVID-19 vaccine certificate, national e-science, mobile device management, social network, context-aware computing, e-health, and mobile application development. He has over 60 refereed publications in these areas. He also serves as a working group member on issues regarding information security, personal data protection, and digital transformation. In his academic role, he works as a lecturer for information systems courses at universities in Thailand. He has been a keynote speaker in several international security events. He holds professional certificates including CISSP, CISA, PMP and IRCA (ISMS Lead Auditor). He is a recipient of the 2019 (ISC)² Information Security Leadership Award. He earned PhD in information systems from the University of Salford.
