Medhy Souidi has been instrumental in leveraging digital technology to transform DBS Bank into the Digital Bank of Singapore. Medhy led the partnership with The Sandbox, a leading decentralised gaming virtual world and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, to create DBS BetterWorld, an interactive metaverse experience showcasing the importance of building a better, more sustainable world, and inviting others to come alongside. Previously, his StartupXchange programme has matched 70 startups with colleagues across DBS in Hong Kong, rolling out more than 30 emerging technology solutions. Medhy himself is big on the fintech scene as a regular speaker at major industry events and a member of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong.
