Michael King has over 25 years in the Technology industry across Asia-Pacific helping companies accelerate growth. He most recently held the position of President and Representative Director of SAS Institute Japan where he led one of the largest regions for the company globally. Prior to SAS he held various Global Executive Management positions at Rakuten Corporation. During his tenure at Rakuten, he held various roles including CIO for the E-Commerce business, GM for the Data/AI organization where he helped build the team from its infancy to one of the largest Data teams in Japan, and Chief Revenue Officer of Rakuten Communications. King spent time in Autodesk where he was responsible for the Channel business for Asia-Pacific. Prior to that King has been the President and Representative director of Citrix Systems Japan for seven years.Previous roles that King also held were senior sales management roles at companies including, Borland, Software, Gartner Group and Sterling Software.
