Yu Long started out as an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer and currently serve as Assistant Vice President in Third Party Cyber Risk Management for State Street, having spent a decade building his exposure and experience in computer science, software engineering and information security. In his career of 6 years, he performed security assessments that varied from code-level changes to security architecture of application systems, and now evaluating organizational security postures. He also pioneered projects and initiatives that brought about actionable communication and transparent observability for information security risk management processes. Yu Long currently also contribute back to the industry as a certified mentor of (ISC)² Singapore Chapter. Yu Long has performed security assessments varying from reviewing applications systems and security architecture to evaluating overall security posture of organizations, where he constantly seeks to achieve security through actionable communication and make progress through transparent observability.
